The basic philosophy of the Edmonds Soccer Club is that every child shall be given the opportunity to participate in all league games and practices, regardless of ability. The Club will structure a system whereby a child has the opportunity to participate in the appropriate level of competition and no child will be denied the opportunity to play because of lack of ability.

League administrators, coaches, referees, players, parents, and spectators are expected to adhere to the highest ideals of good sportsmanship. While winning is a major objective, victory must be gained through fair play and sportsmanship. The good of every individual involved should be kept utmost in the minds of those responsible for putting them on the field.

The unwritten law of common sense will prevail in interpreting and applying rules, policies and procedures. The policies and procedures of the Club are guidelines for the management and operation of soccer within the Association. They are not legally binding and do not override policies of the BCSA.
